Rogers uses this outlook to examine the strength of dissident voice in the censored Iranian blogosphere, politics of memory surrounding the Srebrenica massacre in the Dutch, Serbian and Bosnian Wikipedia’s and culture wars through the tastes of presidential candidates’ social media friends. In awarding Digital Methods the 2014 Outstanding Book of the Year, the International Communication Association (ICA) called it a “groundbreaking book which manages to combine theory and method in a way that is rarely done so well.”
