Building readers
The Empowering Language group is organising a meeting on the topic of ‘promoting reading’. Faculty members from all disciplines are invited to present their ongoing projects or pitch ideas for new projects related to this theme.

This meeting is for anyone with ongoing projects, anyone interested in collaborating in such projects and anyone interested in launching projects that promote reading. To participate, you must register before 27 April.
If you have an existing project related to reading (such as reading development, literacy and literature education, reading in home settings, public and school libraries, etc.) or if you would like to start a new project, you are warmly invited to pitch your ideas, share your work and/or tentative outcomes, brainstorm on future projects and forge new collaborations in a supportive environment. Abstracts may be submitted until 1 May.
