In her lecture, Dr. Olufemi explores the possibilities offered by relational aesthetics, experimental poetics, and a materialist engagement with the imagination in responding to the affective dimensions of an increasingly fascistic present. She reflects on radical social movements as part of a relational aesthetic strategy and considers how collective practices of imagination and political action can open new possibilities for resistance against the material and symbolic violence of capitalism.
