Jacinta Kerketta is a Hindi poet, writer, and freelance journalist from the Oraon Adivasi community of Jharkhand, India. Her poetry revolves around the life-worlds of Adivasi communities and offers a keen understanding of the injustices they face and their struggles for survival in the face of forced displacement, corporate extractivism and ecological devastation.
In this conversation and poetry reading session, Jacinta will reflect on the themes of her poems, on what it means to be an indigenous Adivasi person in India today and much more.
