After three first interesting sessions on technophany, sacredness and myth, and spectographies, here comes a reminder for our upcoming event on Hermetic spirituality and historical imagination.

It will take place next Monday 24th of March from 15:00-18:00 at OMHP C0.23 (UvA). 

It is going to be a special one since the author of this week's texts will be joining and sitting with us, Professor of History of Hermetic Philosophy and Related Currents Wouter J. Hanegraaff! The readings are from his book:

• Hanegraaff, Wouter J. 2022. Hermetic Spirituality and the Historical Imagination: Altered States of Knowledge in Late Antiquity. Cambridge: Cambridge University Press.

We are reading chapter 1 and 10 : "Hermetic Spirituality" and “The Conquest of Time". Additionally, we uploaded chapter 3 "The Presence of Gods" as optional.
