During this meeting, we will discuss a text by Bo Wang titled: Concrete, Steel and the De-Informatization of Future: Nostalgia and Dis-re-enchantment in the Popular Discourse of Technology in China. This will be followed by a discussion on Hannah Poon's text, ‘I don’t want to care’: Fandom, politics, and affect in post-2019 Hong Kong.
After the meeting, we plan to gather at the pantry (1st floor BG1). Please bring your own snacks and drinks.
