Dear all, a new slow study group will begin this winter with the work “Ritual and Its Consequence: An Essay on the Limits of Sincerity” by Adam B. Seligman, Robert P. Weller, Michael J. Puett and Bennett Simon (2008).
Event details of Philosophical Anthropology Slow Study – Topic 1: Antidote
Date
25 January 2024

It is a fascinating book in content but also in terms of its production, being the result of years of conversation between a group of people about the common traits between cultures and academic disciplines.
The schedule for now it to meet every two months starting Thursday 25 January 2024 at 15.00 near Rokin Amsterdam. Hopefully, we can discuss the first two chapters (total 68 pages). The topic for the year will revolve around the theme of ‘Antidote’ in various works.
