Since 2022, the close interaction between the Future of Energy seminars (IAS) and a new interfaculty research priority area (RPA) of the University of Amsterdam, ENLENS (Energy Transition through the Lens of Sustainable Development Goals), has delivered new insights and discussions on how the European energy transition can have impacts across the entire world and is strongly intertwined with essentially all Sustainable Development Goals. The Future of Energy seminars and ENLENS jointly generate key findings that can help us answering the multiple challenges of the energy transition and building a sustainable future together.
The UvA Future of Energy network organises monthly seminars. The programme of each seminar consists of two presentations on the energy transition, coming from different academic fields, followed by general discussions that are relevant for the UvA Future of Energy network.
