The UvA sustainable travel goals are soon to be renewed. This is why it is time to take stock and propose next steps for policymaking! In the roundtable, we will speak about the dilemmas people face when deciding when and how to travel, and how different roles (e.g., early-career vs senior staff, have childcare responsibilities) influence what is possible and useful. It will be a combination of short inputs about sustainable policymaking at UvA, the latest travel emissions data and the current proposal, and then a moderated conversation about the specific proposals. Speakers among others: Richard Goldstein, Ewout Doorman, Cameron Brick, Lekha Samant, Margaretha Wewerinke-Singh, and Barbara Hogenboom.
