The grant was awarded to Michal Korenar (ACLC), Jean Wagemans (ACLC) and Robert de Louw (Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań) to establish a sustainable Amsterdam–Poznań research consortium at the intersection of multilingualism, persuasion, argumentation, language processing and language learning. The collaboration will support research visits, joint workshops, student and junior researcher involvement, pilot studies, and the development of larger international grant applications.

The project will also create new opportunities for internships, thesis projects, research assistance and academic exchange between the two universities. Ultimately, the consortium aims to build a long-term research programme connecting language, cognition and society, and to strengthen collaboration between Dutch Studies within and beyond the Dutch-speaking region.
