As of the academic year 24-25 ARTES will organize peer review and best practices sessions for colleagues who have recently started trajectories as Phd supervisors. We realize, and we know from practice, that to be a good, reliable and efficient PhD supervisor is not an easy task. In the near future, our faculty will most likely develop a mandatory training trajectory not unlike the BKO. We feel that there is also a need to share in an informal setting questions that you may have from your own work as supervisor, or best practices. A first meeting, under the inspiring guidance of Yolanda and Micha, will be held on Thursday 24 October from 15-16 hrs, Bushuis room F 2.11C. More senior colleagues are also most welcome.
