What does it mean to be Black, European and Caribbean all at the same time? How have groups working across boundaries of "race" and region worked together to subvert racial categories and create practices and spaces of inclusion, identification, and shared critique? We will work with those questions, examining Black activism, and racial(ised) identities that are both created and resisted through processes of colonialism. With presentations by Rachel Gillett (UU) and Francio Guadeloupe (UvA).
