Through the Individual Talent Fund research staff can apply for a temporary increase of research time in order to have more time to write grant applications, or to finish one or more (substantial, strategic) publications so as to strengthen their track record for an upcoming grant application.

The deadline for applications in the 2026-2 round is 14 October 2026.
