During the workshop, the INFS editors and various panel speakers will exchange ideas on the journal's upcoming Special Issue (mid-2024) that aims to reimagine a world of fashion studies where scholars are sensitive to the merits of divergent ways of producing fashion knowledge and exercise critical awareness of their own methodological limits. Such a shift in methodological thinking allows novel, inductive approaches to thrive and enrich the interplay between theory and methodology in fashion scholarship.
Panel speakers: INFS Editors (Rosie Findlay, Tommy Tse and Paolo Volonté), Marie-Aude Baronian, Daniel de las Heras Romano, Mary Hanlon, Misha Kavka, Vésma Kontere McQuillan, Diego Semerene, Johanna Pezold, Sophie Wood, and more.
We invite fashion scholars and ASCA members with a multiplicity of methodological backgrounds and conceptual orientations to participate. If you have any questions, please contact Tommy Tse (h.l.t.tse@uva.nl). Please spread the word, and see you there!
