Marie-Aude Baronian started her academic career researching the Armenian Genocide, but she now focuses on fashion. In this third edition of De Goede Gesprekken she explains how this change in research focus came about.

The second guest is Tommy Tse, who was recently awarded a prestigious ERC Consolidator Grant for his research into the global relations formed by clothing production and consumption, particularly between China and Africa. What binds the research of both is an interdisciplinary approach. "If you look through the lens of fashion and textiles, big questions about cultural, economic and affective relationships come into focus in a new way."
