The Amsterdam Wax-Resin Project welcomes Liz Hébert and Momoko Okuyama, first year students in Master of Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage, specialty paintings at the University of Amsterdam.
They joined the centre for a one-month internship that focuses on sorting out and inventorying research samples. The aim of the internship is to develop a database on ground colour change after wax-resin lining. We hope that within a year the database will be open-access.
