Over the past three years, AHM academic staff member Prof. Rob van der Laarse has led the HERA research project 'Accessing Campscapes. Inclusive strategies for European conflicted heritage' about the current role of former war and work camps in the national and European commemorative cultures.

Now the project is in its final stage, publications about results and public meetings in iC-ACCESS are available to get informed about its findings, such as an interview with historian Stephanie Billib, head of the education department at Bergen-Belsen, and an interview with archaeologist Pavel Vareka about the Czech Romani camp Lety.
