Hanna Fricke is the new Data Steward at our Faculty. She offers a workshop especially targeted at ASCA researchers.

Event details of Research Data Management workshop
Date 21 June 2021
Time 16:00 -17:00

Since April, Hanna Fricke is the data steward for the Faculty of Humanities. It is her task to inform and support you in all aspects of research data management. This concerns everything you do with your research data from the start until the end of a research project, including collection, safe storage, archiving and publication of data. Research data management is becoming more and more important due to new university guidelines, national/EU legislations and stricter requirements from funding bodies, such as NWO and ERC, who often ask for a data management plan before the start of a project.

I would like to invite you to an information meeting about the following topics:

  • Introduction to the Research Data Management (RDM) policies at UvA
  • Overview of UvA infrastructure and services for RDM
  • Application to specific ASCA projects

Date:    Monday, 21 June 2021 | Time:    16:00-17:00

This meetings targets all who are doing or going to do research for UvA, including PhD candidates, junior and senior researchers. If you would like to participate in the meeting, [please sign up by sending an email to] .  You will receive a zoom link one day before the meeting.
